REPORT: The Galleria Dallas Championship at The Tribute

The Colony, Texas — February 1, 2016 – Junior golfers traveled from across the state of Texas to take part in competing on the famed Tribute golf course. The Tribute is a British links style course that offers players a glimpse of what it would be like to tee it up at the British Open in Europe. The first day was windy and cold and simulated the conditions often experienced at the PGA Tour’s third major championship. The final round began under those familiar chilling conditions, but thankfully the sun broke through the cloud cover and provided prime weather for players to post low scores. College coaches in attendance this weekend represented: Oklahoma Christian University, University of Texas-Arlington and Texas Christian University.
