Team TJGT captured the 20th Annual Red River Challenge 25.5 points to 22.5 points against Team OJGT (Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour) at Dornick Hills Country Club on October 26-27, 2024.
In the 4Ball, Ryder Cup-style event, Team TJGT won 13 points on Day 1 and 12.5 points on Day 2 to take home the trophy after falling to Team OJGT in the 2023 competition.
On the individual side, OJGT’s Chase Blaser of Edmond, Okla. captured the Boys Overall title by 5 strokes, shooting 67-70=137 to finish at 3-under-par for the tournament. In the Girls Division, TJGT’s Avery Zweig of McKinney, Texas captured the Girls Overall title in a 2-hole playoff over fellow TJGT teammate Khloe Yepez. After both players made par on the first playoff hole, Zweig sank a 30-foot birdie putt on the second hole to secure the victory.
