The TJGT Galleria Dallas @ The Tribute was played January 31st-February 1st, 2015 at The Tribute GC in The Colony, Texas. Over 80 players from Texas, North Dakota, California, Louisiana, & Virginia teed it up in front of coaches from Baylor with the Boys 15-18 playing 6,806 yards; the Boys playing 11-14 6,503 yards; and Girls 11-18 playing 5,805 yards, in this 36-hole, nationally-ranked event.

Playing The Tribute this time of year will give you a realistic experience of what its like to play golf in Scotland. Both days the weather was cold, windy and temperatures in the low to mid 40’s.
BOYS 15-18
DAY 1: Coming out of the gates firing was Jackson Markham from Westlake and Karsten Green from Midlothian, both putting up scores of 71. Sitting in 3rd after round 1 is Gerardo Herrera one shot back of the leaders. Behind Herrera are 8 players sitting only 4 shots out of 1st place.
DAY 2: Jackson Markham and William Hocker both played very good in the tough conditions at The Tribute. Markham and Hocker finished round 2 with tournament totals of 144 placing them in a tie for 1st place. Markham posted a 73 and Hocker posted a 1-under 71. Karsten Green shot a 75 which good enough to give him 3rd place for the tournament.
BOYS 11-14
DAY 1: Joseph Jones from Flower Mound sits in the lead after round 1 with a 74. He has a three-shot lead over Trip Carter from Dallas who is in 2nd place. Danny Chen from Richardson finished round 1 with a 80 placing him in 3rd place after his opening round.
DAY 2: Joseph Jones was able to hold onto his over night lead and finish in 1st place for the weekend. In his 2nd round he posted an 83. Trip Carter from Dallas and Danny Chen from Richardson both played their way into a two-way tie for 2nd place. Trip shot a 84 in round 2 and Danny closed his day out with an 81.
GIRLS 15-18
DAY 1: Kenzie Wright took control over the Girls 15-18 division after round 1. She finished with a 73 and has a three-shot lead over Libby Winans. Winans from Richardson put up a 76 putting her in 2nd after round 1. Elly Baze is sitting in 2nd after her round 1 with a score of 81
DAY 2: Kenzie Wright had a great weekend with a very consistent tournament playing in tough conditions. She finished round 2 with 75 and claimed 1st place. Libby Winans also showed her consistency finishing her 2nd round with another score of 76 to finish in 2nd place. Mikayla Bardwell from Lewisville and Elly Baze both finished the 2nd day with two-day totals of 162 placing them in a two-way tie for 3rd. Mikayla shot a 79 and Elly shot an 81.
GIRLS 11-14
DAY 1: Riley McDole from Southlake shot an 89 to place her in 1st after the 1st round. Haili Moore from Prosper shot a 97 placing her in 2nd place.
DAY 2: Riley McDole finished her tournament with a 99 placing her 1st place for the weekend. Haili Moore from Prosper finished 102 for 2nd place.
